HEART Teams Assess & Recommend Training Approaches
For their first meeting of 2016, HEARTland Positive Dog Training Alliance hosted Sheldon, a 7+ year old Chihuahua mix, and his humans. Sheldon’s mom & dad, both former members of the U.S. military who heard about HEART through the Pets for Vets program, have struggled to help Sheldon overcome growling and biting strangers and others who “get in his space”.
HEART is an alliance of trainers, veterinary professionals, dog owners and other pet services providers committed to force-free, positive training and handling.
